Would You Rather Beauty Tag

I got tagged by the lovely Sammy at Sammys Space! to do this tag, and I thought it looked like fun! Right now I have a very purry cat wedged between me and my laptop (why do they always do that?) he's happy, and I'm slightly uncomfortable, but happy too :P

Before I start I also wanted to say how amazing I thought the closing ceremony was! It looked like a massive party, not as spectacular as the opening ceremony of course, but more fun and casual. Plus it had the Spice Girls (mini squeal) and Eric Idle, that's just awesome in my opinion :P

So on with the questions :

1. Would you rather go out with messy hair and nice make-up, or nice hair and no make-up?
If it's a night out then definitely messy hair and nice make-up, my hair tends to just get itself very messy when I start dancing (normally overenthusiastically :P)

2. Would you rather shave your eyebrows or have your eyelashes fall out?
I dislike this question :P Um, if I had to then I'd have my eyelashes fall out, as then they'd grow back and eventually be the same, shaving my eyebrows would just ruin them > . <

3. Would you rather be forced to shop at only MAC or Sephora for the rest of your life?
As there are no Sephora's in England I'm not really sure what they're like, but from what I've heard I'd say shop at Sephora for the rest of my life.

4. Would you rather wear the lipgloss/lipliner look or 80's perm?
8o's perm, without a doubt. I'm thinking Jennifer Grey dirty dancing style, that would be fun :P

5. Would you rather leave the house with an obvious foundation line or overdone blush?
I'd have a squirrel gnaw my face off...but if I was forced then overdone blush, I could claim I was a part time clown for children's parties maybe...

6. Would you rather wear MC Hammer pants or biker shorts in public?
MC Hammer pants! If I had some (and was drunk enough) I'd do that anyway :P

7. Would you rather have a bad orange-y spray tan or really weird tan lines that can't be covered?
Weird tan lines that can't be covered, at least you'd be a normal colour so people would think you'd been on an awesome holiday.

8. Would you rather have a bad haircut or bad hair colour?
Bad haircuts can be adjusted and styled, bad hair colours are just there.

9. Would you rather have blogger or twitter taken away forever?
Seeing as I've forgotten about my twitter for the past few months and haven't noticed, I'd say twitter :P

10. Would you rather give up using makeup brushes or mascara?
Mascara, I could use natural looking falsies, but make up brushes are just necessary.

Liebster Award

Hello :) I've been sooooooo busy this week, I honestly thought I'd have a lot more time to blog, but catching up with friends can be really tiring! Especially when you have no car and have somehow injured your knee... (but I'm getting the knee thing checked out tomorrow :P). Seeing all my old friends has been amazing though, tomorrow I'm off for a very girly sleepover, films, chocolate and tequila ^ - ^ Eeee, excited :)

So I got awarded the Liebster blog award by Josephine, I really love doing these tag posts with facts and questions, because I want you guys to get to know me, and also because they're fun :P

Facts about meeeee :
1) I like my own company for a day or two and then get really lonely
2) Sometimes models in magazines really motivate and inspire me, other times they just depress me
3) I find it really hard to remember to drink enough water
4) When I'm really happy I do a wiggle dance
5) I really like it when animals yawn
6) I love watching entire series of television shows in one go
7) I hate waking up to an alarm clock/a person waking me up, I'm always in such a better mood when I wake up naturally

My questions :

1. Why did you decide to make a blog?

I'd been reading blogs and watching beauty gurus on youtube for ages, and I just decided, why don't I give it a go too? It's so much more fun to be actively involved rather than watching from the sidelines.

2. Favourite food?

Ahhhhhh, ummmmmmm... > . < Soooo hard, right now I'm craving Chinese, so I'll say beancurd and black bean sauce, with egg fried rice, and spring rolls, loads of spring rolls....

3. What colour are your room walls?

White :( They're so boring.

4. Oreos or choc chip cookies, and WHY?

White chocolate chip cookies = heaven, my favourite cookie/biscuity type thingy. Especially when they're a bit squidgey.

5. Your dream date?

Hmm, a picnic by the seaside, a (gentle :P) bike ride, and then going home and curling up together to a movie WITH TONNES OF CHOCOLATE :D

6. Best feature in a guy, explain your dream guy!

Best feature would have to be a good sense of humour, intelligent and witty :)

7. Western or Asian make-ups?

Ooooh hard, I prefer Asian BB creams (because they're just better :P), I don't think I've tried enough Asian make up > . < even though I bought a load on my Korea holiday :P

8. Your current favourite piece of clothing/accessory/shoes?

Right now I keep wearing light summery scarfs in pastel colours, I'm loving my pastel green Forever 21 scarf and my baby pink scarf :)

9. Your favourite chocolate, or your favourite fruit? Maybe both?

Favourite chocolate issssssssss galaxy cookie crumble *drools*, favourite fruit is hard, maybe blueberries because I have them on my breakfast every morning and get sad when we run out > . <

10. Favourite fast food outlet? Or favourite place to eat?

Me and my boyfriend always seem to go to Wagamamas whenever we go out to eat :P I love the food there and it has loads of great memories, but I think we should probably branch out a bit more :P

11. The place that you most want to travel to?

The place I most wanted to travel to for the past 3 years has been Korea, so I'm so happy I finally managed to go! I'd love to go again though :P It's an amazing country ^ - ^

Seriously Late Tag Post

I'm going to start this post with an apology, sorry sorry sorry for taking so long to do this! I was tagged absolutely ages ago! So I'm finally doing it now :P I was tagged two times, so I'll combine them here :) Thank you so much to the lovely Yoyo and Mui Mui for tagging me to do this. So without much further ado, I'll start:

Facts

1) I've snapped the big toenail off my left foot three times, once from dropping a bookcase on it (that killed), once from someone kicking it off when I was barefoot and they had HUGE shoes on and once walking back to my boyfriends house through the woods completely smashed and tripping over a root.

2) I hate people who don't clean up in the kitchen > . < Sharing a kitchen with messy people at uni kills me (especially when they use and then don't wash up my things *grumble grumble*)

3) I've only just started watching Pretty Little Liars AND I LOVE IT.

4) I've once gotten lost in the middle of Reading after a night out with my friend and wandered around drunk until daylight where we had to ask a dogwalking stranger for directions...classy.

5) When I was little my favourite book ever was The Goose Girl by Shannon Hale, I've read it so many times.

6) Now my favourite book is Jane Eyre, and it will never ever ever change because it's the best book ever :P
7) My favourite Audrey Hepburn film is How To Steal A Million ( * - * love you Audrey)
8) I'm chilly

9) Even if I don't talk to my best friends for a while at uni the moment we meet up again it's as though nothing has changed <3

10) My favourite shop in the world is Liberty's in London, the first time I went there was when I was about 8 and I haven't stopped loving it.

1) Do you consider yourself as a Tsudere (Harsh outside Gentle inside) or Yandere (Gentle outside harsh inside)? XD
Ermmmm I suppose a Tsudere... but not really too harsh :P

2) Do you have some sort of fetish for something? If yes, what?

A fetish? Err not that I'm aware of :P

3) Do you wear glasses?

Yes - _ - Only for reading, but I hate them because they're never where I put them!

 

 

4) Are you very sweet and kind in public but a totally different person when you're with people you're close to?

I reckon I'm kind to people I'm close to, my boyfriend says I hit him too much...But then laughs because my punches are too feeble...

 

 

5) Are you outgoing?

Only with my friends, then I'll go a  little bit mad.

6) What's the first thing you notice in a guy? Is it the most important trait?

I'm shallow, so I notice looks first, but it's really not the most important, you can ruin good looks by opening your mouth and saying something idiotic or nasty.

 

 

7) When you tell jokes, does your friends usually laugh because of the funny-ness of the joke or they laugh at how stupid and lame the joke it? (weird question XD)

I've been told I'm terrible at telling jokes, I start laughing (and snorting) half way through telling the joke :P

 

 

8) How many languages do you know?

I did French and Spanish at school, I can remember fragments of Spanish and nearly no French :P I'm desperately trying to learn a few useful phrases for Korea, but so far I can't say I can actually properly speak a language other than English.

9) What's your favourite brand of make-up?

Benefitttttt <3 Which most of my make up collection consists of, I really do mean to branch out :P

10) Headphones or earphones?

Earphones, they're more practical, but headphones can look really cute.

 

 

11) If you could invent anything, what would it be?

Bernard's watch! It would be the most amazing thing ever, but I wouldn't tell anyone, I'd keep it to myself :P I always wish I had one at concerts so I could use it to get to the barrier :P

11 Questions Tag!

Okay, I absolutely and completely love reading these on other peoples blogs, so I'm so happy I got tagged to do one of these! (Yes this is what amounts to happiness in my life :P). I was tagged by Emer who has a great blog which I really love :)

Okay rules blah blah 11 facts, answer 11 questions, make 11 questions, tag people blah blah :P Now for the fun bit ^ - ^

11 Facts (lulz, I feel like soon I'll run out of facts about me!) :

1) I hate segmented worms (Annelida for all you sciencey people :P) I'm fine with other kinds (which is good because we've had to collect them and study them in our lab sessions at uni :P) but segmented ones URGH it's the way they move > . < their muscles contracting making them long and short ew ew ew ew I freak out if I see one :P

2) Every couple of months or so I get a HUGE craving for Dr Pepper, other than those times I'm not really fussed :P

3) Orange squash gives me migranes, and some types of blackcurrant squash, but not all...must be something funny they put in it...

4) I wear a watch constantly from the moment I wake up to when I go to bed (excluding showering :P) because I need to know the time all the time :P

5) I think I failed my chemistry exam yesterday.

6) I'm from Kent, but came all the way to North Wales for uni > . < So far from home!

7) One of my aims in my life is to read all the books my parents own, so far I've only gotten through three, I have three bookcases and 6 boxes to get through still :P (and it doesn't help that they keep buying them!)

8) I have a Nova Scotia Duck Tolling Retriever who is the most gorgeous dog in the world <3

9) I named my dog Tolly after a horse in The Archers.... I was a cool kid :P

10) I can only be bothered to do laundry when I'm down to my last set of underwear...it's just SO much effort...

Favorite shade of lipstick? Mac Lovelorn, but recently I've been loving darker lipsticks, so maybe Dark Side if it suited me and  I was brave enough :P

Who/What inspired you to start blogging and how long have you been at it? I literally started because I couldn't sleep one night because my boyfriend was hogging the bed :P I've been reading blogs and watching make up gurus on youtube for around a year and I've loved it :)

Favorite makeup brand of all time? Easy, Benefit <3

Who do you look up to and why? Family member,famous person etc. I'd have to say my Dad, he's done so much charity work over his life, including living and volunteering at a hospital in Romania for 8 months, I wish I could be brave enough to do something like that.

What shop do you mostly see yourself in when out shopping?  Probably Topshop, unless I go to somewhere with a Hollister, I could stay in there all day...

What is your most expensive beauty product? Hmm excluding my GHDs I think my Smashbox primer, originally £40, but I got it for £30, so far I haven't really bought anything too out of my price range, but I can totally see myself doing that soon :P

Favorite perfume/fragrance? Daisy Eau So Fresh Marc Jacobs love love love love love

How often do you wash your hair? Every other day (unless I've been exercising then I'll do it more often).

What would you look out for mostly when searching for 'The Ideal Boyfriend?'  Hmm, obviously gorgeous with a good body ;) I like muscles, but not the huge scary ones :P Swimmer ones are nice.... But personality is more important, they'd have to make me laugh every day and be a good person :P Okay basically I think my boyfriend is the ideal one for me :P That was really cringey and sickly wasn't it? :P

Do you wear makeup everyday,or just when your going out? Just going out, I don't really care if people see me with imperfect skin or dark circles when I'm going to lectures or when I go shopping (unless it's a proper shopping day, then putting on make up gets me in the mood to waste loads of money! :P)

Name a celebrity which you admire for their great taste in makeup? Aishwarya Rai, she always looks so elegant and classy, I think she's gorgeous.

What kind of weather do you like the most?
Thunder and lightning! I love really violent weather (so long as I'm warm and cosy inside and get to watch out of a window :P)

Whenever you're down, what instantly cheers you up?
Inviting my boyfriend over and watching an old kids films together (Fantastia * - *)

Did your childhood dreams change as you got older, or remain the same?
I've wanted to be a Marine Biologist since I was 9, and now i'm studying marine biology at uni XD.

Do you prefer Mac or PC?
I like both, is that allowed? I have a PC, but I would loooooveeeee a Mac :P

What is one thing to absolutely have to do every day for your day to feel complete?
Going outside at least once :P I hate those days where you have to stay inside all day (like when I'm ill or revising :( )

If you had to go without any communication technology for a week, do you think you'd be okay?
I might forget which lectures to go to...I depend on my friends texting me to tell me where I should be and where :P I'm a bit useless like that :P

What inspired you to start a blog? Personal reasons? Social reasons? Etc?
I've loved reading beauty blogs for ages, I started watching beauty youtube videos (introduced by my boyfriend weirdly enough :P) and then moved onto blogs. So I thought I'd have a go at it myself, and it's great fun ^ - ^

Do you like Disneyland? 
I never got to go when I was little *criesssssssss*

What is one guilty pleasure you have? (Whether it's food, music, hobby, etc.)
Oh dear....I love eating REALLY bad food (chocolate, cookies, ice cream) and watching any Gordon Ramsay tv shows....I don't know why...I just do it...

Do you think of yourself as a person who lives without regrets? 
Hehe, not at all, whenever I go out for the night I wake up the next morning thinking 'I wish I'd never done that.....' :P But for the important things no, no regrets ^ - ^

Nope, because I'm going to recycle THESE questions (ahahahahaha) So very lazy....
