Exam Stress Haul

I really shouldn't be allowed to shop, it's not like I have the money to :P Luckily for me (and my need to shop) I found some bargains on cheapsmells.com (which isn't the most appealing name in the world...). I can't remember their exact prices but all three of these were £23 including P&P. Not too bad I'd say.

Firstly I got this Mac blush in Sincere. It's a dark peachy colour and I thought it'd be a good summer contour colour. When I looked at it on the website I wasn't really interested, but I googled swatches and thought it'd be perfect for me :)

Next I got one of my favourite Benefit products ever, a creaseless cream in Sippin' N' Dippin'. It's such a pretty coraly colour * _ * I'd been wanting a coral for summer and creaseless creams are my favourite things ever, so I had to have it, totally justifiable.

Finally (I'm quite proud of my restraint really) I got my first ever Benefit lipstick in No Competition. It's a GORGEOUS vampy dark red. It's so pretty. I've been obsessed with vampy lips for a while, (mainly due to Lousie from Made In Chelsea looking gorgeous with them in Season 2) but I've always been a bit nervy with bold lips. This is just too gorgeous to not wear though!

I would say I've been very restrained with my shopping...but I am waiting for a couple more packages to arrive in the post! Oh dear....

Exam in 3 days, and 12 lectures to revise...completely do-able :D

End Of Exams, Lipgloss and Blush

Exams are over!! It feels very strange to not feel guilty about lazing around and not revising, strange, but very good :P To celebrate the end of exams I bought myself a couple of presents from buyapower.com. I've never used this website before and I have to say I'm quite impressed. The basic concept is that the website buys products in bulk and can sell them for cheaper, but only if enough people buy it, the more people buy it the lower the price becomes. I got a Mac Lipglass and a Nars blush. I wore both products last night, so I'll review them here as well.

Firstly the Lipglass, I got this for £8.50 (including P&P) which I think is a great saving. I got it in the colour Pink Clash, which is a glittery pinky brown colour. I really loved wearing it last night, but because it's still a gloss I had to reapply whenever I had a drink, but that's why they put so many mirrors in the girls bathrooms :P Also I adore the smell, it's not too strong, but it is delicious, I definently want to buy more colours.

I got the Nars The Multiple Orgasm Cream blush (which is mean to be multipurpose for lips and cheeks, but I wore it as a blush last night), this was more expensive at £22, but still a great saving and this has been on my wishlist for quite a while. I'm really happy with this product, I can see why it's raved about so much. The colour is a really gorgeous slightly corally pink with a lot of shimmer in it. It's really not for casual occasions in my opinion, or for people who dislike shimmer. The colour is really buildable though, so it can work with a more toned down look, last night I wore it a bit more obviously, and I loved it, it's just so so so so pretty ^ - ^ Another recommendation :)

Now that exams are over I'm going to be going out to celebrate a lot more so I can review all my christmas present beauty buys properly :P Especially seeing as I'm on a self imposed budget from now on :P (excluding the lightsabre chopsticks I bought my boyfriend for his birthday :P)

A Bit Of Make Up and a Lot Of Ghibli

Hello again ^ - ^
I'm back at uni! It's weird how much this place feels like home already :P I got back yesterday and already it feels like I haven't been away at all :D Today I went shopping for a few necessary (i.e. boring) bits and a few unnecessary (i.e. fun) bits :P

I've read quite a few positive reviews about Bourjois Healthy Mix Foundation, so I thought I'd give it a go myself. I'm quite shallow about make up packaging and I prefer to buy prettier packaged things so I wasn't overwhelmed with the simple Bourjois packaging, but I was looking forward to buying this product so I didn't mind a whole lot. I bought mine in shade 51 Light Vanilla for £9.99 which I think is reasonable because there seems to be a fair amount of product inside. Once I've worn this on a night out (the real test :P) I'll review it properly.

My second and last make up buy was the Mac Lustre Lipstick in Lovelorn, a gorgeous girly pink colour. This is my first ever Mac lipstick and I am so completely in love, it's so beautiful *stares doe eyed at lipstick*. This was my treat for revising loads for my exams (the first one is tomorrow! Eeek!) because it was £13.50 which is a little out of budget really, but a treat once in a while won't hurt.....much :P

Now for the photo heavy Ghibli bit :P These are the wonderful Christmas presents my boyfriend gave me. I'm a huge huge huge Studio Ghibli fan so I adore all of these pressies. Firstly my Totoro slippers ^ - ^ So cute!!! Although I have accidentally loosened two of the arms, so I'll have to do a little bit of DIY slipper surgery at some point :P

I also got five mini Japanese Ghibli posters. The best part was they were all my favourite films so this was a really sweet thoughtful gift ^ - ^

Now I'm off to revise some more for my HUGE exam tomorrow *cries*.
