Hello ^ - ^ One of my bestest friends in the whole world has just made a blog and I'm soooooooo excited about it! She's the one who first got me into make up (and actually bought me my first make up ever for my birthday agessss ago :P). She's really really brilliant :D
Before I properly got into make up I'd make her do my make up for me on nights out because I was so rubbish at it :P Now I've improved quite considerably, but I still think she's fantastic :D Her make up always looks amazing and her looks are so creative :)
I really recommend checking her out at Daydreams and Pretty Things she's literally only just started but has a few great posts already. I'm also going to visit her on Wednesday ^ - ^ and we'll probably pop into London for a bit of shopping at some point too, so expect us both to have hauls soon :P (Even though I reallllly shouldn't be shopping until I get a summer job...).
I was going to be mean and put a daft photo of her on here (and trust me I have a lot to choose from :P) but I thought I'd put up one where we both look nice :P Aren't I sweet? :P

Exams Are Over!
Exams are over for the year! *Does happy dance* Yayyayayay ^ - ^ My last exam wasn't even that bad, there were only a few questions that confused me, the rest was, not easy exactly :P but do-able.
Afterwards I had the best after exam day ever. First we went up to a hill overlooking the sea for a picnic, (I ate A LOT of bad food yesterday :P), after we drove over to a nice sandy beach to spend the afternoon *blissssss*.
I love the beach, whilst most of our group played, a few of us (girls :P) sunbathed and snoozed out in the sun :) I love that sleepy sun feeling. Because I'm paranoid about burning I put on loads of suncream but somehow missed a bit in the middle of my back, so I have a bright red blob there...not attractive :P
At the end of the afternoon me and a friend went rockpooling and the weirdest thing happened. Well not the weirdest thing everrrrr, but quite strange :P And it freaked us out so much that we had to run back to the sandy part of the beach :P It was a strange rustly light clicky sound, at first we thought it was the seaweed drying and rustling in the wind a little. But then I put my hand on a rock and the crackling went really loud 0.o. Then we realised it was the barnacles > . < I don't know why this was scary, maybe because there were so many of them :P Then everytime we stepped on a barnacle covered rock they went mad, so we ran away :P
Scary, scary barnacles.
Today isn't going to be quite as much fun though :( I have to pack because my first year at uni is over! I'm going home on Sunday *cries*. But then on Wednesday I'm off visiting friends in Reading and then the week after I'm visiting friends in London :D Yayyy, it's going to be a good summer ^ - ^
I hope everyones exams went well and if you've still got some left GOOD LUCK! <3

I Love Herbal Essences
I have one more full day of revision, 2 hours of exam and then FREEDOM :D I haven't exactly been utilising my revision time for these past few days though, Wales has been uncharacteristically hot and sunny. Great excuse to lay back and watch the boys play football though... :P
Recently I've noticed how much nicer my hairs condition is, this winter I accidentally DESTROYED my hair using John Frieda's Go Blonder shampoo and conditioner (products which are officially on my hate list now :P). I had awful dry, brittle hair, and the worst case of split ends I've ever had in my life :( Needless to say I stopped using the Go Blonder stuff :P After getting the ends cut off at the hairdressers I started using Herbal Essences Hello Hydration to fix the icky dull brittle hay nest that was my hair. All I can say is YUM.
I'd forgotten how good Herbal Essences is, and with their new (ish :P) range they're even better than ever. I've been using Hello Hydration since Christmas and my hair is sooooo much better than it was! I also love how coconutty it makes my hair smell ^ - ^.
Last week I switched to the one most people seem to love Tousle Me Softly. This one is the yummiest smelling thing in the world, pomegranates (my favourite!) and violet mmmmm ^ - ^. Delicious hair. This shampoo and conditioner is designed for people with naturally wavy hair (like me!). I'm really loving this one, more than Hello Hydration (but I still love Hello Hydration too!). I think I'll use Tousle Me Softly in the summer and Hello Hydration when my hair gets drier in the winter.
Totally in love with my hair right now :P

Dove Summer Glow Review
Helllo :) I've finished two of my exams! Only one to go next week and it's all over! Very very excited for that day to come. In the meantime I've been trying out gradual tanners again. I try them every year, because I love golden summer skin, but if I go out into the sun I'm so pale that I go red and then white right after, or I don't tan at all - _ - I've used different products each year, and nothings impressed me so far. I can't really remember but I think I used a Garnier and a L'Oreal one before...I think. Whatever I used one was unnoticeable, even after building it up for a week, the other left bright orange blotches where I hadn't blended it in properly....not ideal.
This year I thought I'd try again, whilst I was browsing in Boots my friend came up to me and started raving about how amazing she found Dove Summer Glow, so I thought why not, it's only £5.69, I'll get it. And wow, am I glad I got it. I can now say that this is the best gradual tanner I've ever used (of three, so not saying much but stilll :P), I really like this.
I got the one fore fair to medium skin because I am paley paley pale. After the first use I could notice a slight difference in my skin, it looked like I'd been out on a warm Spring day, nothing too major, but a little bit of colour. I've been using this every other day, and the build up is really gradual and nothing scary, I don't want to look like I've been faking, I want to look like I've been all active and playing in the sun (rather than sitting in a dark room under a duvet revising for days....).
Also because I'm lazy I put this on realllllly quickly, this was my mistake with one of my old ones, it left streaks and splotches of uneven colour. This one is VERY forgiving. So far I've had about three small (less than a 5p coin) splotches, and they aren't orange, just a slightly darker brown colour than my skin. They just look like slight bruises, rather than something unnatural :P I don't even mind them...it makes me look outdoorsy :P
I use this right before bed because it's also a moisturiser, which I think is fabulous, especially because it makes it easier to blend into my skin. It's also quite a good moisturiser and leaves my skin feeling really hydrated, but then again it IS Dove, and Dove is good at moisturising :P
Finally one thing I don't like about the product is the smell, but you can't get away from that really. It smells like a McVities factory exploded on me. I do find it quite strong > . < but luckily the smell fades after half a day.
Overall I'd really recommend this product, great colour, great price and great for moisturising.
Again good luck to everyone still suffering with exams! The end is soon, just remember that amazing feeling of relief when they're over and you have an incredibly long summer ahead of you!

Little Hollister Haul
I got a few bits and bobs from Hollister as a present from my lovely mum this week :D Because I've been revising hard and because my mum has just as many issues with controlling her shopping as I do!
I got two plain V necked t-shirts, I love the quality and soft fabric of Hollister tees, they feel so comfy, great for curling up and revising, or just wearing casually with jeans. I don't have any plain t-shirts really so these are really useful.
Next some denim shorts with a belt, my old New Look denim shorts have seen (much) better days, so these will be great this summer ^ - ^ Now if only the weather would brighten up so I can actually wear them! > . <
Finally is this cute white frilly top, I love love love this so much :) It's a little less casual than everything else, but I can see myself wearing it shopping or to picnics in the park. *Starts fantasising about summer*
Today I had my chemistry/biology exam (which is verrrrry icky) but it's over! I put a big red line through it on my timetable ^ - ^ Only two more to go, but I'm having a break tonight :P My brain deserves a rest :P
Also, I saw a rainbow today! I got really quite excited, love rainbows :P
That's it for tonight, I'm now going to curl up, watch some old QI episodes and eat my new favourite Ben & Jerry's ice cream Vermonster (which is SO yum).

Exam Stress Haul
I really shouldn't be allowed to shop, it's not like I have the money to :P Luckily for me (and my need to shop) I found some bargains on cheapsmells.com (which isn't the most appealing name in the world...). I can't remember their exact prices but all three of these were £23 including P&P. Not too bad I'd say.
Firstly I got this Mac blush in Sincere. It's a dark peachy colour and I thought it'd be a good summer contour colour. When I looked at it on the website I wasn't really interested, but I googled swatches and thought it'd be perfect for me :)
Next I got one of my favourite Benefit products ever, a creaseless cream in Sippin' N' Dippin'. It's such a pretty coraly colour * _ * I'd been wanting a coral for summer and creaseless creams are my favourite things ever, so I had to have it, totally justifiable.
Finally (I'm quite proud of my restraint really) I got my first ever Benefit lipstick in No Competition. It's a GORGEOUS vampy dark red. It's so pretty. I've been obsessed with vampy lips for a while, (mainly due to Lousie from Made In Chelsea looking gorgeous with them in Season 2) but I've always been a bit nervy with bold lips. This is just too gorgeous to not wear though!
I would say I've been very restrained with my shopping...but I am waiting for a couple more packages to arrive in the post! Oh dear....
Exam in 3 days, and 12 lectures to revise...completely do-able :D

Sparkly Nails and Much Hatred For Exams
Urghhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh > . < Exams...EXAMS. I dislike them intensely. Unfortunately for me the two things I turn to when I'm stressed from revising are : 1) chocolate and 2) shopping. Once I get all my orders in the post I'll be able to do a revision stress buying haul :P Oh wells, once they're over they're over > . <
To make myself feel a little better I painted my nails with this gorgeous sparkly nail polish I got from Korea. It's from The Face Shop and it's in BK901. I loves it ^ - ^
Unfortunately the pictures simply don't do it justice, the black background with tiny flecks of sparkle changing from purple to green to blue in the light. It's even prettier in the bottle because at the right
angle the colours change from one side to the other. I love it, love it, love it!
Terrible ice cream cravings right now... but the student shop closed 10 minutes ago and I'd have to walk ten minutes down a dark, deserted, rainy road to get to the 24 hour shop, so I'm thinking...not tonight :P
I wish everyone doing exams right now so much luck and the promise that they will be over soon! The end is in sight! For me my last one is on the 24th, and believe me after that I will be drinking, eating and sleeping incredible amounts (but probably not all at once :P).
Have fun with your revision ;P

April Favourites
It feels like forever and ever since my last post! I hate exams, completely and utterly detest them > . < I have my first one on the 14th, and I'm ignoring everything else until it's over :P I've decided it's the only one I care about, everything else I will try and blag (this is not sensible life advice by the by :P).
So here I am, on a (short) break from revising my socks off with my April favourites! Apart from one week (which had four deadlines at once - _ -) it's been a really good month ^ - ^ especially seeing a I started it off in Korea!
I'll start off with the beauty products:
I got this Tony Moly BB cream in Korea, and I've been using it nearly everyday since. I love BB creams, they're perfect for daytime when I don't need as much coverage, just a little bit of a brighter complexion. This one is the perfect colour (sometimes BB creams can be too light) once it adjusts to my skin tone, and it's also really moisturising (hence the hyaluronic acid bit). Compared to my old Missha Perfect Cover BB cream this one is better matched to my skin.
This Liz Earle Cleanse and Polish was a free gift with Red last month and I adore it wholeheartedly. Despite having the worst exam stress diet ever (hello fizzy drinks, chocolate and ice cream) my skin has been holding up. I've gotten two blemishes since using this, both after forgetting to wash my face and sleeping in my make up and even they cleared up faster than normal. I love this stuff so much ^ - ^. For a full review click here.
My third is a new purchase (I bought this at the same time as my Chanel foundation). It's Sleek's Storm Eyeshadow palette. These are fantastic. Ultra pigmented, ultra cheap and loads of choice. I was torn between this one and Sleek's supposed Naked dupe, but despite having no money I have decided I AM going to one day buy a Naked palette so I chose Storm instead :P
My next favourite is a little different, it's Nu Nale's nail strengthener cream. When I eat a bad diet or have nail polish on for too long my nails get unbelievably brittle and dry. I've been using this morning and night for a week now and my nails are in good condition again :) Yay! I got this from Boots over a year ago now, and there's still loads of it left :D
Last of my beauty products is a repurchase of a fantastic product. This is Soap & Glory's The Scrub Of Your Life body buffer, and it's amazing. I've been using this since I got a sample size of it for christmas and it only just ran out last week, so I can't imagine how long this huge one will last :P I love body scrubs, and this one smells beautiful and smooths my skin oh so much ^ - ^. Love it.
Finally for my random April favourites. I'll start with the delicious one...Reggae Reggae Tomato Ketchup *drooooools*. If you've never had this before GO AND BUY SOME NOW. I love all Reggae Reggae sauce products, so so yummy, but the tomato ketchup can just go on EVERYTHING...well not everything but a lot of things :P It's got a teeny bit of chili in to give it a kick, and tastes sweeter than Heinz because it uses sun ripened tomatoes and *droooollsss*.... Although I must warn you that if you live in uni halls it will be stolen, I keep mine in my room now *suspicious glances* at uni if you leave money, an ipod or your phone out in the kitchen it will be untouched, but anything yummy will be stolen in seconds :P
Lastly is a film I watched years ago and loved, I saw in HMV for £6 and simply couldn't resist. It's Park Chan-Wook's (my second favourite director ever by the by :P) Oldboy, and it is epic, to say the least. I couldn't recommend it more highly, especially if you love Korean cinema. The basic premise is a man is imprisoned for 15 years (without being told why) and suddenly released. The man who imprisoned him gives him 5 days to find out why he was imprisoned, if he finds out the kidnapper will kill himself, if he doesn't the kidnapper will kill the girl (who befriends him after he is released and tries to help solve the mystery). I will warn you however that this isn't exactly the happiest of films :P It's quite disturbing at parts and very very very violent. But if you don't mind that then I recommend this film so highly! One of my favourite ever :).
Phew, that's a lot of favourites :P I guess I'd better get back onto the revision. For everyone else who's having to endure the exam period right now as well I wish you good luck!

Liz Earle Cleanse & Polish Review (and a giveaway update)
Hello and sorry sorry sorry > . < I've been away for what seems like YEARS. I meant to do at least two posts but I've just been so busy! I severely underestimated how much work I'd be doing and all my deadlines seemed to be on Friday :P And I'm only going to get busier over the next month because it's EXAMS *shudders* But I will try and try and try. For example I should be revising right now, but instead I've been on facebook all morning, now writing a blog post and going to take the dog on a walk ;) Hehe, I hate revising.
So review time! I got this mini Liz Earle Cleanse & Polish as a freebee in Red magaizine. I don't really read Red much, but my mum used to get it and it's still good :P Very much worth it for the free stuff :P
Before I get into it I just want to say that I LOVE this. I still have to try out my Lanegie foaming cleanser before I make my mind up, but Laneige has to be exceedingly good to beat this!
I've never used a cloth cleanser before, so the idea of putting the product onto dry skin feels unnatrual. The product itself feels like thick moisturiser, it smells a bit rubbish to be honest :P I assumed it would smell better as it's quite an expensive product, I think it must be the eucalyptus in it, it smells half planty and half chemically :P
But thats a minor problem, other than that it's amazing. After wiping the product off with a hot muslin cloth (which came with the sample) my skin feels so completely perfect. I've noticed such a difference in my skin! I've had the occasional spot (but these come after forgetting to use this and either drinkng or eating bad food, or both at once :P) but nothing major. The overall feel and look of my skin is soooo much brighter, I love it > . <
100ml of this stuff is £12.75 ( £14.25 for 100ml and a muslin cloth), so it's not cheap, but I've been using the 30ml sample for over two weeks morning and night and it's only just starting to feel a little empty, so I think it's completely worth it. If you were wanting to test it before buying a big bottle there is a 30ml starter kit (cleanser and muslin cloth) for £5.50, still expensive, but cheaper than getting the bigger one in case you don't like it :P Although I think it's amazing > . <
Unless my Lanegie foaming cleanser is better than this (but how could anything be better!) I will buy the full size, I've wanted to try this for ages after hearing how great it is, and now I can agree with everyone :P
